Active protection
- Automatic Sprinkler Systems

How they work:

Sprinkler systems are automatic systems for fire suppression. They detect, warn, control and get to extinguish certain types of fires that have begun, before they grow and become uncontrollable. The principle by which the sprinklers work is as simple as insurance.

The sprinkler is installed following a distribution in the areas to be protected. If as a result of a fire surrounding, the temperature increases above the tare of the sprinkler , the sprinkler opens and water is discharged only in the fire area. At the same time, the system notifies alarm operation.

When the fire has been extinguished, used sprinklers are exchanged for new ones and the system is ready for operating again.
Fields of application:

Warehouses, factories, production buildings, storage areas, shelves freestanding stores, hotels, fairs, shopping centers, hypermarkets, supermarkets, office buildings, hospitals, food industries, film industries, photography, paint, detergents, plastics, industrial of paper and wood processing, galvanizing works, waste management, CPD, invaluable archives and banks, among others.
- Water spray systems

How they work:

The water spray system functions primarily as a sprinkler system, except that it has open-extinguishing nozzles and, in case of fire, large amounts of water discharge over the entire protected area. It is used to protect buildings completely or just parts of them, as well as local protections for objects with high sensitivity to heat, highly flammable and where the risk of a fire from spreading quickly.
Fields of application:

Nuclear power plants, thermal power plants, waste incineration warehouses, silos, manufacturing plants, airplane hangars, theater stages, transformer stations, cable galleries, ferries, tunnels, gas and oil tanks, fuel transfer stations liquid , etc.
- Foam extinguishing systems

How they work:

The foam extinguishing systems are fixed systems. They are used for liquid and solid material fires, with certain restrictions, in gaseous material fires. To generate the foam, the water flow passes through different machines in which is suitably mixed with the substance that produces the foam. The combination of water and concentrate foam is almost always mixed after air.
Fields of application:

Manufacturing and repair plants, tank storage plants, refineries, airports, laboratories, chemical storage plants, fixed roof tanks, floating roof tanks, spill collection trays, loading, hangars, LPG tanks, LPG spheres, etc..
- Gas extinguishing systems

How they work:

The fire suppression systems use inert natural gas to extinguish fires. They are basically used where the fires that have begun, need to be extinguished quickly, and where it is essential to prevent subsequent damage caused by the effects of extinguishing agents or waste.
In gas systems, the discharge is automatically caused by the detection of fire, but can be activated manually. Once caused the alarm and after the programmed delay, the gas discharge occurs in the fire area. Any fan or air conditioner will stop simultaneously, ventilation hatches and doors will close to prevent the escape of air and / or gas extinguisher agent, avoiding to lose its capacity for action.

This gas systems are especially suitable for areas containing flamable liquids or other materials with similarly behaviour in the presence of fire, and for areas containing equipment or items of high value that can be damaged if you use other extinguishing agents.
Fields of application:

Manufacturing and processing of paint, storage of hazardous materials, paint booths powder bath, hydraulic systems, filters, printing presses, plastic foams, CPD facilities, files, underground wiring, control panels, turbines, transformers, processing metal, machine tools, textile machinery, art stores, etc.
